Cause:

Jet Lag is caused by a shift of your circadian rhythms (also known as your biological clock) from rapid long-distance transmeridian (east-west or west-east) travel on a Jet/Air Plane. Although its very common for people to get Jet Lagged when flying from West to East and not East to West.

Prevention:

To prevent Jet Lag its recommended that you get a full night sleep (7 – 8 hours) before flying. Also avoid heavy alcohol drinking (before and during your flight). One glass of wine on the ground is equal to 2 – 3 glasses in the air. Cabins are pressurized so the air is dryer than normal so keep yourself hydrated by drinking lots of water.

WOW this outfit haunts me. I mean I could be kidnapped, inappropriately touched, not fed for days and still wouldn’t be as traumatized as this “look” has left me. WTF is with that collar? This costume is the perfect definition of “Too Muchery”.

After much delay due to a trademark issue with Abercrombie & Fitch over the “Fierce” name, Beyoncé is finally ready to launch her fragrance. Dubbed Beyoncé Heat or simply Heat it marks a great addition to her growing empire. Beyoncé has been working on the fragrance for quite some time and is said to be happy with the final product. As for the name she says, “A lot of my performances have had fire involved, so we thought ‘Heat.’ The fragrance boasts magnolia, red vanilla orchid, blush peach, tonka bean, amber, honeysuckle, neroli, almond macaroon and crème de musk notes. The Heat collection includes eau de parfum and gold sparkling body lotion with prices ranging from $24 to $69. Heat will hit stores February 2010 in North and South America and internationally in August covering Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and Australia. Shot by Michael Thompson, the print ads feature Beyoncé with the tag line “Catch the Fever”. The ads will run in Beauty, Fashion, and lifestyle books in February to coincide with the launch. A scheduled appearance is set for February 3rd at Macy’s Herald Square to promote “Heat”.

Lately I’ve found myself consumed with the idea of Skiing. Those who know me personally will agree when I say that I am a couch potato, I detest the cold more than I detest crocs and capris, and the only sport like activity besides bargain shopping in my life is Tennis (which I’m not very good at). Let me make my defense; first and foremost Skiing is beyond chic, the skis and poles and just as thin as Alek Wek’s legs, and Après-ski activities are always fabulous. Enough blabbing and on to the good stuff, Gucci Ski Goggles. In looking for Ski Equipment I begin to look for the basics ie. Helmet, Poles, Goggles etc.. I came across some amazing goggles but they were espensive (not expensive but espensive don’t forget the spanish accent). So I thought well if regular Ski Goggles cost over $300 what about designer Goggles? I searched for Dior ones and nothing, Fendi found 1 pair in brown for $179, Chanel over $400 uber chic but way out of the price range, and last but not least Gucci $195 and flawless. The Gucci Goggles aren’t just for looks as they provide excellent protection on the slopes with their Anti-Fogging abilities. Although not available in Stores as of (12/16) they are available online via Gucci.com

When Jil Sander was first tapped to design a line for high-street giant Uniqlo, no-one could’ve predicted the madness that was about to ensue. +J for Uniqlo, with its sleek tailoring and minimalistic elegance, had a huge build-up (not least by Grazia Daily, ehem) but this was far surpassed on the launch day. On October 1st from 8am, a mahoosive queue was meandering its way down Oxford Street. The day’s sales targets were made five times over by the close of play, and the Uniqlo website nearly crashed as sales increased by an incredible 1,750%. A second drop of the collection even had to be done just a week after the first to meet demand. Wowsers!

First let’s get the serious stuff out of the way. “Tiger is wrong for cheating on his wife, he has kids and blah blah zzzzzz”. Seriously? This is the best thing to ever happen to Tiger. Think about it! He’s been the golden child of Golf ever since I can remember, everyone swears he’s some kind of angel, he can’t fart without Wheaties coming out of his ass, and he’s got more endorsement deals than Jenna Jameson has been banged. He’s a person not a machine and what have we learned from being human? We will make mistakes and one upload or trip to Dr.Phil cannot contain the situation. From what I’ve been hearing he seems to be telling the girls the same story “unhappy at home”. The man is 33 and lives in the public eye this was bound to happen. I’m still surprised they didn’t find him in some dungeon wearing a leather outfit while a mistress teases his ball with his own golf clubs.

With their Rodarte for Target collection due in Target Stores on December 20th, Laura and Kate Mulleavy have teamed up with fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson for a promotional video of the collection. Tavi the 13 Year-old fashion guru has been making her mark on Fashion. First with her blog StyleRookie and last season during New York Fashion Week when she received prime seats at Alexander Wang and Marc Jacobs. Shot in North Dakota, the video plays like a moving scrapbook with various high profile interviews, the musings of Tavi, and the inspiration behind the collection.
