As you may be aware of Anna Wintour’s contract at Vogue is due to expire at the end of the year. Now rumor has it that she could be possibly replaced by French Vogue Editor Carine Roitfeld. This scene is straight out of The Devil Wears Prada. Now i just hope that Andrea got to her soon enough to warn her. Oh say it ain’t so. Anna no longer at Vogue? She’s been there for 20 years, I know she’s made some bad decisions but her better ones are what kept the magazine alive and thriving.

H & M Introduces Home Collection

Ikea please make room for H & M as it is entering the Home Décor business. The collection is set to launch February 2009 with a series of bold prints. The collection includes pillows, showers curtains, and towels. Sad to say H & M hasn’t release the US launch date as of yet. My friends in Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Germany and Austria are schedule to receive the collection first. I love this small push towards home for H & M but they should thread lightly specially in this economy. Now my question is are you ready for H & M home?

Daily Lust: Christian Louboutin Alti Leather Pumps

Reasons why Christian Louboutin and I aren’t married is beyond me. No man has ever understood my needs (for shoes) so much. Now if I could pick one style of shoe to wear forever it would be a black pump, specially one that is super tall at least 5 inches. Well that was before The Alti Pumps from Christian Louboutin, which are 6inches in height. Just when i thought he hit his all time high at 5 maybe 5′5inches he went to 6. Die Die Die, I pray to the Lords of fashion that these shoes will come to me in the near future. After all if its one queen that could do these shoes justice it’s me. On the other hand I’m nervous about wearing 6inches. Since I’ve started wearing 5inches I no longer wear anything shorter.

Haute Living: $95 Million Estate in Greenwich, CT

You know Just the other day I woke up and realized that I was badly in need of 22,000 Sq Ft mansion with 14 bedrooms and 13.5 bathrooms, but only if it sits on 40 acres. Obviously I’m kidding ( for right now anyways) but let me introduce you to ” Greenwich, CT 06831″. That’s the location of an enormous compound in Connecticut that probably has it’s own zip code. Connecticut is by no means a modest place, having the most registered Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s than any other state so a $95 million estate only seems fitting. During an interview with the Daily Express Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed that a sequel is in the works. Unlike Miranda and Charlotte Carrie will not be a mom anytime soon. Sarah Jessica Parker told the Daily Express,

“It doesn’t seem as if that’s going to be a choice she’ll make. I don’t know. Michael [Patrick King, director] and I never talk about it. That doesn’t mean that won’t be part of the story. Best friends Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala may have something on their hands with their line, William Rast. I’m always skeptical to shop Celebrity collections because a lot of times it’s a license and simply an easy form of income for them and not a passion but this isn’t the case. It wasn’t until Funkshion: Fashion Week Miami Beach in March 08 that I fell in love with this line. Anyone who knows me will tell you that my wardrobe staples are Jeans, Jackets, and T-Shirts. Matthew Williamson for H & M S/S 09

I’ve been excited before about H & M collaborations but this one has me on the edge of my seat. H & M has announced that Matthew Williamson will be the next designer to join their list of collaborators. For the first time ever Matthew Williamson will be designing menswear in addition to womens wear. The line is set to debut in April 09 with womens wear and mid-May with men’s and more women’s pieces.
