Through its Fashion for Haiti Initiative the proceeds will be contributed to The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. For most people traveling is an escape from their daily mundane lives, so they welcome the idea of a smaller space for a short amount of time in order to experience a different city and have fun. I had the pleasure of touring this Haute Property last night during the Tweet Your Way To SkyLofts event. SkyLofts are available in 1, 2, and 3 bedroom configurations. I toured the 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath loft which encompasses over 3,000 SQ FT of living space. To include a kitchen, an office, a master suite with a walk in closet and private workout room, a guest suite that sleeps 2 , a living room, a non formal and a formal dining room, various lounging areas, a balcony and the fabulous outdoor dip pool with unparalleled views of the strip. The lofts are outfitted almost exclusively with Bang & Olufsen products including phones, speakers, and televisions with the exception of various iPod docks. Sprawling across two floors the loft is available at nightly rates starting at $5,000 based on season and demand.

Not only is Versace a global brand now you can take Versace with you globally, not in the form of a suitcase but a cell phone. Versace is following the designer cell phone trend, which includes the likes of Prada, Dior, Dolce and Gabbana and Tag Heuer. The new cell phone will be unveiled during the Couture Shows in Paris next week. Through a licensing deal with ModeLabs Group the phone will be produced and distributed. The Versace branded cell phone will be released in May and made accessible via Versace boutiques worldwide and select high-end watch and jewelry stores. Unlike the Dolce & Gabbana and Armani cell phones, the Versace Phone will retail for well above $5,000

Lately I’ve found myself consumed with the idea of Skiing. Those who know me personally will agree when I say that I am a couch potato, I detest the cold more than I detest crocs and capris, and the only sport like activity besides bargain shopping in my life is Tennis (which I’m not very good at). Let me make my defense; first and foremost Skiing is beyond chic, the skis and poles and just as thin as Alek Wek’s legs, and Après-ski activities are always fabulous. Enough blabbing and on to the good stuff, Gucci Ski Goggles. In looking for Ski Equipment I begin to look for the basics ie. Helmet, Poles, Goggles etc.. I came across some amazing goggles but they were espensive (not expensive but espensive don’t forget the spanish accent). So I thought well if regular Ski Goggles cost over $300 what about designer Goggles? I searched for Dior ones and nothing, Fendi found 1 pair in brown for $179, Chanel over $400 uber chic but way out of the price range, and last but not least Gucci $195 and flawless. The Gucci Goggles aren’t just for looks as they provide excellent protection on the slopes with their Anti-Fogging abilities. Besides my addiction to fashion I have an addiction to technology. Not the iRobot kind but the iMac kind, great functional technology that’s not scary. So last night I came across the Powermat, it does exactly what the name states. It’s a mat that powers things, wirelessly that is. With the Powermat you can charge your devices wirelessy. How does it work? Simple really. You plug in the mat, put your phone in a case and sit it on top of the mat. If you need to charge a laptop simply use a disk with a usb cord and you’re done. Since our devices aren’t pre-loaded with the receiver the docks/cases are needed to charge the devices. But the receiver can be embedded into any device, and once thats done you simply need to place it on the mat and the device will begin receiving power. The Powermat uses (RFID technology) so it simply powers off once the item you are charging is done, thereby conserving energy. The Powermat will be released by the end of 2009 and will retail for $100 and $30 per disk/case.

To help raise money for the White Ribbon Alliance For Safe Motherhood, Naomi Campbell has donated her Vert Alligator Hermes Birkin. The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood is an international coalition of individuals and organizations formed to promote increased public awareness of the need to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for all women and newborns in the developing, as well as, developed countries. It’s the preferred charity for France’s first lady Carla Bruni, ELLE UK’s Editor-In-Chief Lorraine Candy and Jane Birkin. Naomi’s Birkin as well as other Hermes Vintage pieces will be auctioned on November 10th.

Hermes has outfitted the Smart Car and the Bugatti Veyron par Hermes Edition, Louis Vuitton has a concept Infiti infused with touches of Damier Graphite and now Chanel with the Fiole Concept Car. Concept cars hold a special place in my heart as they are the truest form of design and craftsmanship, some may even say they are the Haute Couture of the car world.The Chanel Fiole Concept Car is designed by Jinyoung Jo a South Korean student from Hong-ik University. The car is created with a female customer in mind. In keeping the Chanel essence alive it is designed in Black and White. The car features a predominant Chanel Logo and seating for three or a driver and plenty of Chanel shopping bags.

Printmaster Roberto Cavalli launched his namesake club in Dubai last week. The club opened with extreme fanfare as the 400 guests enjoyed the beautifully designed interiors, quartz flooring and furniture decked in signature Cavalli prints. Located at the Fairmont Dubai the club is an extension of the Cavalli lifestyle.

“I have many stores in this area and loyal customers. Dubai is one of the most important selling places in the world for Cavalli fashion. It’s the future of the luxury business,” said Cavalli.
