As Miami gets into full frontal Swim Fashion Week, the crowds will disperse into what seems to be an endless amount of venues, shows and presentations.

Miami Swim Week held at the Raleigh hosted annually by Mercedes Benz and produced by event giant IMG, has come to town, but so has individual presentations taking place in all of South Beach’s newest and most desirable locations such as the Gansevoort, new W, Fontainebleau and ever present Setai just to name a few. Although MB Swim Week is the official reason for the gathering of the industry and revelers alike, many brands, labels and designers have opted to try and gather outside of the IMG lineup running competing shows with the exact same times and schedules. A recent trend in fashion weeks run by IMG in cities nationally; currently LA’s Fashion Week is on hiatus due to lack luster lineups and sponsor pullouts.
