Ever since Audrey Hepburn‘s famed role as a lovable hooker in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, the little black dress has been made into a pop icon. More commonly referred to as the “LBD”, this classic cocktail must-have is now considered the closet staple of the chic modern woman and the trendy “it” girl alike. Being the piece that no woman can live without, the problem is finding the perfect LBD that fits one’s body and style. Everybody is different, so the same dress over and over just won’t do. One must remain chic, poised, classic, and as “unclockable” as possible! The term “clocking” in this sense refers to the dress being recognized for being worn before at previous social functions. One should be noticeably chic, NOT pathetically repetitive. That being said, as with any classic closet staple, this baby has some rules:

The Beckham’s are at it again! Now normally I post about a beautiful guy and his equally beautiful girl, but this dynamic duo leave me no choice! David and Victoria Beckham have undoubtedly been stopping traffic for years, so naturally they’re perfect billboard material. I have to give Giorgio Armani the acclaim he deserves for casting such a perfect pair for an ad needing both the right amount of sex appeal and an air of sophistication. The Emporio Armani underwear campaigns will never be the same after this; these two really are just too hot for words! I mean how is the famed Italian fashion couture house to follow up such sexy-chic shots?
