Jimmy Choo is giving those in the high end kicks/sneakers market; the likes of Prada, Lanvin, and Louis Vuitton a little competition. After the Jimmy Choo X UGG Australia debacle/news I cant wait to see these in the shops in May. The capsule collection includes 8 styles, 5 high tops and 3 low tops. Like all things Jimmy Choo the materials are luxurious. The sneakers are crafted out of Patent Leather and Suede, there’s even a snake embossed pair. Hitting the Jimmy Choo stores and online in May, the sneakers range from $465 for low tops and $595 for high tops. The Black Patent and Suede pair is calling my name, will I answer? I’ll let you know in May.

Although I am coming down from my Bag and Shoe high and focusing more on clothes, I cant help but covet some of these clutches. From Fendi to Miu Miu these clutches will take you from the office to the nightclub and even behind close doors (not judging but someone has to pay for that Judith Leiber).

I heart Lizard but as you know since it is an exotic it can be costly. Not the case here with this Stamped Lizard Fendi bag done in a patent leather finish. Its sleek enough to wear with Jeans and a Balmain Jacket while taking the kids to Dalton or out on date to Cipriani with that certain Russian playboy.

Jimmy Choo and UGG Australia are starting the New Year with a new collaboration, UGG & Jimmy Choo. Each partner will bring their strongest quality to the table; UGG will bring the sheepskin and Jimmy Choo will provide the design elements. Due out in October the five piece collection will be available online via both collaborators’ site, and select Jimmy Choo, Department and Special Stores. The boots will range from $595 to $795, no word yet on who’s crazy enough to buy them. As much I love collaborations I’ll be skipping this one unless theres a 5 inch heel attached to the UGG’s. As of now while at Jimmy Choo your only purchase options are shoes and bags, but that will change in 2010. Jimmy Choo has inked a deal with Inter Parfums SA for its frangrance license business. The deal will last 12 years and Inter Parfums SA is commited to the Jimmy Choo brand with a plan for agressive campaigns. Jimmy Choo is consistently expanding its product offerings so beauty is naturally the next step. “It has always been my vision to fully accessorize the woman, and fragrance is an integral part of the modern wardrobe,” said Tamara Mellon, Jimmy Choo’s founder and president.

I honestly will flat out come out and say that I have a shoe fetish. Not the odd kind where I want to mount the shoe but the feeling that I get when I slip on that pair of stiletto, or ankle boot. There is something about shoes that changes everything, it makes you happy, changes your posture, enhances your calves, makes you look taller I mean I can go on. My two main reasons for loving shoes are the height and the statement. Shoes make more of a statement than clothes sometimes. If you live in off the rack clothing like 99% of us then you can agree when I say the right shoes can make or break a look. I don’t spend very much on clothing so I can splurge on shoes and accessories. My main shoe collection consists of pumps, black pumps to be exact.

If you saw my closet 3 months ago you’d swear I was an administrative assistant from left to right in one line were all black pumps. Its not that I didn’t like other shoes, it was just my preference and what I could find that worked for me.
