In the words of Miranda Priestley in The Devil Wears Prada “It’s not wonderful yet“. I swear every year this show takes a step backwards. I remember thinking 2008 was decent, but compared to 09, 08 was AMAZEBALLS. Let’s start with the music, The Black Eyed Peas were OK at best, love em to pieces but I just don’t feel like they delivered that wow experience. Don’t get me started on The Duchess in that green number, I wont even get into the fact that Heidi just had a baby and she’s still thinner than Fergalicious. The Staging was pre-school at best, a V shaped runway “Groundbreaking“. The search for an angel was very 2009, I love a fresh take and fresh faces but of course they chose the two most basic girls Kylie and what’s her face. As basic as Kylie appeared to be at first, she rocked the runway. She served super model and she served it well. Speaking of Models id like to say that the only Fashion Show I approve of using girls that eat is the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and casting Chanel Iman was a NO NO. If i wanted to see a black skinny boy on the runway, id crash the show. All in all the show was “fun” and boast great production value, I just didn’t think they stepped it up this year. I would have preferred a repeat of 2007. Then again there’s always next year.

    I thought this year was the biggest disappointment :( Costumes weren't as excited and I felt I had already seen most of them in previous shows. The walks really killed it. I felt like I was watching a red carpet & not a catwalk. Enough with the kissing & waving.

    I thought last year was bad, but this was worse. The intergalactic set was pretty fun, so was all abroad, but what the hell were they thinking during that last section?

    Really hoping they redeem themselves next year, I mean how can you go wrong with long legs & lingerie?

    Seriously, lol the kissing and waiving is so bikini/wet T-shirt Contest in Cancun during spring break. I like it better when they simply slow down the shot, way more sexy. Idk i'm hoping for huge results next year, maybe they should take it across the pond. Paris? London? Dubai? Perhaps.
