Tory Burch is a mother, a designer, a friend, a socialite and an American Icon. Born June 15th, 1966 she is the daughter of Reva and Buddy Robinson. Her mother is a former actress and her father was a wealthy investor. Burch grew up in Philadelphia alongside her brothers Robert, James, and Leonard. She attended the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a degree in Art History. After college she worked with various design firms including Polo Ralph Lauren where she was a copywriter, Calvin Klein, and Vera Wang.
