On Sunday 60 minutesshowed their profile of Anna Wintour in a piece called “Anna Wintour, behind the shades“. I missed it on Sunday but managed to find the clip on CBS.com where Morely Safer interviewed her. The piece was 1 part informational and 1 part satire. Miss Morley Safer seemed to be throwing more shade than Anna. Though the clip is roughly 13 minutes long, I’ve highlighted some of his satirical quotes.

Morly Safer: “is she really just peaches and cream with a touch of arsenic”

No, he didn’t. I would have liked him to say it to her face.

Morley Safer: “She’s decisive, impatient, and bears a look that says i’m the boss and you’re boring”

No shit Morley she is the boss and has been for 20 years.

Oh here comes the big question from Miss Morley ” Why the sunglasses?”

Anna replied: “I can sit in a show if I’m bored out of my mind nobody will notice and I’m enjoying it nobody will notice”

Morley Safer: “models who seem angry as they are emaciated wearing clothes fit for a cadaver”

Oh you got me Morley After the initial shock I couldn’t stop laughing

Morley Safer: “designers like Karl Lagerfeld who this season favors the Dracula look sing her praises”

I DIED; I can’t believe he just called Lagerfeld out like that.

Morley Safer: “John Galliano who designs for Dior who some might think needs a better tailor”

I’ll give you come credit for this one Morley but only because Galliano is a gay Pirate.
