Day two can only be describe as amazingly busy. I always seem to think that everything takes 15 minutes and they usually end up taking an hour. When I woke up my schedule had 3 appointments and 1 task, by the end of the day it was more like 6 appointments and 20 tasks. Reese came over in the am so we could get an early start and that so didn’t happen. We started chatting, lost track of time and ended up watching Fashion TV as I made pot stickers. Two hours later we finally left the apartment in search of a shoe store, after walking aimlessly on Collins Ave then Washington Ave we stumbled on Soles Inc(not the right store) . Soles Inc is a great little sneaker boutique hidden on 12th street between Washington and Collins. I got the cutest grey T-shirt there with purple graphics on one side. Pitt stop at Starbucks for Vanilla Scones, a light vanilla bean frap with whip, a muffin and a bottle of water. I know a lot of people go to Starbucks to write their novels or pretend to look busy but that’s not what we’re about. We simply like to people watch, and talk about cute guys or the random stuff that people wear outside their homes.
After people watching I ran to the tailors then we were off to the Shops at Bal Harbour where I had to Interview the General Manager of Tory Burch, Natasha Lamour. The Shops at Bal Harbour is a high end retail shopping destination. At Bal Harbour you can find Fendi, Sergio Rossi, Max Mara, Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Jacobs, Salvatore Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton, Tory Burch, Lacoste, Thomas Pink, Graff, Tiffany & Co, Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta , Chanel, Hermes plus Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. After my Interview with Natasha we walked the mall looking for our next purchase. This is when I realized that I can be a huge impulse buyer well not huge but impulse is impulse so I won’t sugar coat it. I wanted the Skinny Jeans at Marc Jacobs, the flat boots with gold zipper detail at Sergio Rossi, the wool and cashgora crop coat at Tod’s, and my favorite Louis Vuitton where I wanted everything. I have a Louis Vuitton surprise so you’re just going to have to wait, its soooooooo good. Oh I did manage to purchase the Resin Cuff from Tory Burch, it’s so cute.

So we left Bal Harbour and this where the detours came in. Reese wanted a skirt from Aventura Mall so we headed there until I called Pam. On my way to pick up Pam I got a call from Joanne so I had to pick her up, mind you they live away from the mall. Anyhow we get to the mall and Skirt drama; the lazy associate did not want to pull the skirt from back stock. One conversation with her manager later the skirt was being rung up. Meanwhile I was on the prowl for my next impulse buy. I swear I shouldn’t be allowed at malls unsupervised. Remember how I needed a black clutch well I started looking for one, bad Idea. In between making a decision I ended up with two pairs of shoes, and a black clutch soooo not good. Well the purchase no, but the shoes yes. On my way out of the mall I decided to check the schedule when I realized that the shows started at 6pm, oops it was already 6 and I was all the way across town. Two drop offs and 200 blocks later I was back in Miami Beach and I was running an hour late. At 7pm my phone starts going insane with txt messages “Are you here yet” “Where are you, do you need a seat”. OMG I so wanted to panic but I couldn’t I got myself together and scooted over to the tents in record time.
