Remember Joey Potter/Katie Holmes from her Dawson’s Creek days? You know she played a tomboy, always sneaking into Dawson’s window; she had that super tough exterior. Well if you don’t remember her that’s a good thing, and if you do aren’t you so proud of her. Katie Holmes is the perfect example of it doesn’t matter how you start but how you finish. Early on in her career she was cute and always put together but never had an OMG did you see what Katie Holmes wore moment. That all changed in 2005 when she started dating Tom Cruise. Now I used to have a big crush on Tom Cruise before the whole Scientology thing. And I was shocked when he started dating Katie Holmes because I for sure thought he was going to turn her into a crazy Scientologist, boy was I wrong.

Thanks to Tom’s crazy ass Katie Holmes became fabulous. Katie Holmes is now a Fem-Bot, she’s like the American version of Victoria Beckham. She’s got that amazing bob, she’s thin, always fashionable even when dressed down, and she’s been seeing around the world toting this giant Hermes Birkin HAC. As an Hermes Birkin lover myself this new Birkin carrying Katie is fascinating to me. I love to carry a big bag, but there’s usually nothing in it so it’s always interesting to see other people with big bags. I wonder if she carries Suri Cruise in that bag, it’s not a joke she can actually fit.
